Carbon Brush

Molybdenum disulfide plays a key role in enhancing the carbon brushes of motors. As a core additive, it is integrated into the carbon brush material. With its unique layered structure and self-lubricating properties, it forms an efficient lubricating transfer film between the brush and the commutator/collector ring. This not only significantly reduces the coefficient of friction, but also effectively suppresses electric sparks and reduces contact surface wear, enabling the carbon brush to maintain a more stable contact resistance and electrical conductivity during high-speed operation. It is particularly suitable for harsh working conditions such as offshore wind turbines that require high reliability and long-term maintenance-free operation, greatly extending the service life of key components.
