Introduction
Molybdenum Disulfide Lubricant can provide long-lasting lubrication for sliding surfaces with light load or slowly moving to heavy load. Molybdenum Disulfide Lubricant can be used for sliding parts with an operating temperature range of up to 350°C, including rollers, flat bearings, gears, sliding systems, cams and valves.
The good lubricity of molybdenum disulfide is determined by its crystal structure.
Molybdenum disulfide Lubricant has a layered structure of hexagonal crystals, and its crystal is a layer unit composed of three plane layers of sulfur, molybdenum and sulfur, each molybdenum disulfide crystal has a lot of molybdenum disulfide molecule composition, each molybdenum disulfide molecular layer is divided into three atomic layers, the middle layer is molybdenum atoms, the upper and lower layers are sulfur atomic layers, each molybdenum atom is surrounded by 6 sulfur atoms, the thickness of the unit layer is 6.25A°, the distance between the layers is 12.3A°, it is easy to split from layer to layer. A particle of 1 μm can split 800 flakes with a coefficient of friction as low as 0.02. The layered structure of molybdenum disulfide has strong intralayer bond energy, which can achieve the purpose of compressive resistance, weak interlayer bond energy, easy to shear and lubricate, and small friction coefficient. Therefore, molybdenum disulfide is known as the king of solid lubrication.
Molybdenum Disulfide Lubricant has a wide range of applications, primarily encompassing lubricating greases, modified plastics, carbon brushes, powder metallurgy, brake friction materials, sealing materials, and coatings. It is widely used in industries such as automotive manufacturing, mechanical processing, powder metallurgy, and semiconductors.

Molybdenum Disulfide Lubricant is a lubricant grade of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) available in three grades-Technical, Technical Fechnical Fine,and Super Fine.Typical MoS2 content (calculated average) is 98.5%.
